MATERNITY SESSIONS

PRICING

Maternity Package I | $325

45 min session (if on location only within 10 mins of Glens Falls, NY), one outfit and 10 digital image downloads

Maternity Package II | $450

1-2 hour session, studio, on location or both, multiple outfits (use of client closet) and full digital image gallery of 30 images

** Use of client closet is free with all sessions. Link is provided upon request. If you do not see a dress that you love, let me know and if there is time I'm happy to order it for your session. Please note that many "brand name" maternity dress manufacturers are located in Europe and shipping time can be slow.

Maternity & In-home Newborn Combo | $775

Maternity Package II package plus 60 min in-home newborn session (Newborn session includes 30 digital images)

First Year Package | $1500 ($600 savings)

Includes: Pregnancy Announcement, Gender Reveal (30 min, 10 digital images), Maternity (90 min, full gallery), In-home Newborn Session (90 min, full gallery), (2) Milestone Mini Sessions (3, 6 or 9 months, 20 min, 10 digital images), First Year Portraits & Cake Smash (60 min Child Only, full gallery), First Year Family Mini Session, One Mini Specialty Session (20 min, 10 digital images, Spring, Fall, Winter)

** A retainer of $500 is due at booking for First Year Package. A fee of $200 will be due 48 hours prior to each of the following sessions: Maternity, Newborn, First Year, Full Family & Specialty Mini and $100 before each milestone session.

When facing the building, on your left will be the loading bay entrance and to your right will be Lawrence Street.

Lawrence Street Entrance: Go around building to the right, enter door at end of wrought iron gate. My studio is directly across from stair doorway on the second floor.

Loading Dock Entrance: If you enter the loading dock entrance, please take an immediate right and go down the hall (through the glass doors) until you must take a left into the stairway. This is the Lawrence Street entrance stairway and my studio on the second floor.

I recommend parking in the lot on the corner of Curran Lane & Lawrence Street.

You will be provided a proofing gallery within a few days of your session where you can view edited image examples and choose the images you want as part of your package. You may purchase additional images at this time.

HOW DO WE GET OUR IMAGES?

Yes! I believe every stage of your life should be celebrated together. You are welcome to bring children, pets and grandparents! If you would like family members to be included, please let me know on your pre-session questionnaire so I can arrange the best time for their arrival. I prefer to do a limited number of family images first if children are included. That way they can be taken to lunch, the park or home while we concentrate on photos of you alone. This is to ensure you are not distracted by inquisitive and happy children during your session. The best option is a planned grandparent-child day once they are finished with photos. I do not do full family sessions at this time as I want the focus of your session to be on you and your bump.

ARE WE ALLOWED OTHER FAMILY IN OUR SESSION?

Yes, I have a changing room in my studio and there is a bathroom at the opposite end of the hallway from my studio with a family style bathroom on the left. There is a full length mirror there.

IS THERE A PLACE TO CHANGE ONCE WE ARRIVE?

I know that being very pregnant can mean it sometimes takes a bit more time to get places (especially if you have other children) so I do block arrival times for studio sessions. This means if you are scheduled at 11am, you may arrive any time between 11-12. Doors lock promptly at one hour past your session. As outdoor sessions are often limited by daylight hours, unfortunately I can only wait up to 15 mins after your scheduled arrival time. If you are doing a combination studio and lakeside session, it is extremely important to arrive on time to allow for travel before sunset.

HOW MUCH ARE ADDITIONAL IMAGES?

WHAT IF OUR CURRENT CHILDREN ARE FUR BABIES?

I take covid precautions very seriously but we always practice good hygiene. The studio is disinfected between sessions and unwashed outfits are not shared between clients. I ask that if you have any symptoms that you reschedule your session. There is no penalty to reschedule!

WHAT ABOUT COVID?

My contract says two weeks from the date I receive your selections but I try to get them back sooner than that.

HOW LONG BEFORE WE GET OUR IMAGES BACK?

Kind of! We have several area hair and make-up artists that we recommend with salons very close to the studio. Most of our moms choose to do hair and make-up on their own and we have tips for that provided below. My favorite for maternity hair and make-up is Make Me Up by Jessica Longton.

DO YOU OFFER HAIR AND MAKE-UP?

BRING THEM! I'M a HUGE animal lover and happy to accommodate your pets. They are part of the family too! I do ask that you bring a third person to watch your pet so we can do some images without worrying about messes or them escaping.

WHAT IF I DON'T WEAR MAKE-UP?

Everyone is different and I won't force anyone into doing hair or make-up if they aren't used to it or hate it in their normal life. However, I have to manage expectations and make sure that all my clients understand that if you do not wear make-up you may not look as "finished" as some of the women in photos on my website.

Due to the time it takes to edit natural skin to look photo finish ready only minimal beauty edits will be done and an additional fee of $50 per photo will be charged if client wishes more advanced beauty editing. For ladies with severe acne or rosacea, there may be an additional fee if extensive editing is required. I do always recommend at least a foundation if you have blemishes.

Final Thoughts | I don't want to penalize or shame anyone. This policy is merely to set expectations and make my clients aware of the amount of editing work that goes into my photos. Adding complicated skin edits can add an hour or more of editing time alone when it typically takes about 45-60 mins to fully edit a complete image (one without need for extensive retouching). I have to go in and remove each and every blemish one by one then correct for redness, etc (there is no one click action that makes blemishes go away) so it really is a time intensive process.

OUTSIDE SHOE POLICY

Due to the light color of my portrait backgrounds, please do not wear shoes outside if you'll be wearing them during your session. I ask that you bring them with you and ensure soles are wiped prior to arrival.
